“I am 67 and disabled. My whole life I've been a bit of a pack rat. Keeping every card and letter I'd ever received and such. A couple years back I moved into a small one bedroom apartment. It was like living in a storage unit. I couldn't sort it out on my own...and I tried...because with my disability I have bad balance and if I fall, I have to call someone to get me on my feet. With my sister's help I started looking for someone to help me organize and get rid of stuff. I called several places and we came across The Organized Haven Collective. Unlike the other organizations, Organized Haven Collective seemed to know exactly what I was looking for - to really help me organize, not just clean. Plus, it would be a psychologist helping me deal with the emotional ties I had to my stuff. When Miss Rachel came to help, she kept me motivated and helped me find things I really needed to keep and helped me recognize just how much of my stuff was not really that special and could be sent to a thrift store.
